Another strong Malbec wine from the Mendoza region of Argentina is Sur de los Andes, one of several tasty offerings from a vineyard started by a retired investment banker.
Like most Malbec wines, there are dark berry and plum undertones with additional spicy notes that lend complexity. Unlike most Malbec wines of quality, the price of Sur de los Andes will not exhaust your wine-buying budget.
