Cupcake Vineyards Red Velvet has a silly name, but don't let that fool you. Red Velvet combines Zinfandel, Merlot, and Petite Sirah, each grape adding distinct characteristics, aroma and flavor. Fermentation is followed by a unique oak regime that infuses creaminess.
Red Velvet is found at fine wine stores, as well as Walmart, Costco and Target, and regardless of where you find it, it is seldom priced above ten dollars. That's a lot of rich red indulgence for the money. So, go for it.
