Egri Bikevar, or Bull's Blood, is a venerable, rich and tasty Hungarian wine of the Old World, which has held a strong reputation throughout it's homeland's fluctuating wine fortunes.
Luckily for the discerning wine quaffer, this means that this flavorful, fruity concoction can be found easily and at great bargain prices, sometimes as low as seven dollars a bottle.
Whereas better known regions of the Old World so often sell at a premium, Egri Bikevar from Hungary is quite the opposite and is strongly recommended.
