14 Hands wines are inspired by the unbridled spirit of the wild horses that once freely roamed eastern Washington, grazing alongside the Columbia River. Though measuring just fourteen hands tall, their energy and tenacity are legendary.
Run Wild is just one of several excellent offerings from this Washington State vineyard. It is principally a blend of Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache,with a vibrant, fruity flavor of blueberries, black currants and black raspberries.
And like many Washington State vintages, it is under-rated and priced propitiously, sometimes higher but often less than ten dollars retail.
