The Pinot Project

While wonderful, red Burgundies can be quite expensive. Thank goodness, today tasty, affordable Pinot Noir can be found  in California, Oregon, Australia, Chile and New Zealand.

Pinots from these regions tend to be less consistently excellent than their expensive French brethren; however, when properly executed, they are often richer in flavor, tasting fruitier than the Pinots from France.

If this intrigues you, then try The Pinot Project. It's a good example of a quality pinot noir wine that does not break the bank.
