Alexander Valley Vineyards Temptation Zinfandel is a spicy dry wine with intriguing black-pepper aromas, and beefy, lightly smoky flavors backed by plenty of blackberries. And like most other Zins, it is both powerfully flavored and has a great nose, mingling happily with bold food like brisket, lamb shanks, pork ribs or anything barbecued.
Best of all, and in keeping with all entries at this blog, it can be found online and offline in the range of 10-14 dollars....a bargain if ever there was one.
This must be why the Wine Enthusiast has designated it as one of its best buys.
