Columbia Crest has produced another winner and this time from its Two Vines Vineyard. It is a Cabernet Sauvignon, but it is not a lonely, oulier, as the Merlot, Blend and Shiraz or also worth noting.
Each is well-balanced and smooth from aroma to finish. Transitional tasting notes are pronounced but subtle, with hints of vanilla surrounding rich foretastes like raspberry,, plum and cocoa.
For those interested in yet another value red to add to their arsenal, this Cab and its close relatives may be worth investigating.
