Marqués de Murrieta Estates and Vineyards was established in 1852 and is one of the oldest and rightfully prestigious bodegas in La Rioja Wine Region.
It's Marqués de Murrieta Reserva is a classic Rioja consisting mainly of Tempranillo grapes, with contributions from the Graciano, Mazuelo, Garnacha grape varieties. it possesses sleek texture with bright cherry, red plum, and vanilla flavor notes. Firm tannins and racy acidity give it focus.
Though it is often found at higher prices, one need not look far to find bargains. Doing so is highly recommended.
