As in one previous entry, we may be straining the sobriquet "frugal", for though the Phantom, essentially a Petite Sirah, Zinfandel blend, comes from our friends at Bogle Vineyards, it is more easily found closer to twenty dollars than to ten dollars.
Having said that, it is an exceptionally rich taste experience and, with a little luck, can be found at the lower reaches of its price point.
For anyone who enjoys a bold red, with complexity as well as subtlety, the Bogle Phantom is for you.
